Hip Hop Recognition Month Proclamation Ceremony and Mural Space Showcase

Join Fine Art of Hip Hop on Sunday, August 30, 2026, at 6:00 PM Eastern in Wynwood for an evening celebrating Hip Hop culture, public art, and community creativity.

The event will feature a proclamation ceremony recognizing the cultural impact and artistic contributions of Hip Hop, along with a showcase of the Wynwood mural space at 175 NW 20th Street, Miami, FL 33127. Guests will have the opportunity to connect with artists, community leaders, and supporters while learning about Fine Art of Hip Hop’s ongoing mural initiative.

The mural installation is expected to take place throughout August and be completed in September. The showcase will highlight the mural site, the vision for the artwork, and the role of public art in beautifying communities, supporting local artists, and creating educational opportunities for students.

This free, family-friendly event welcomes residents, artists, cultural organizations, students, and visitors to experience Hip Hop as a powerful form of artistic expression, cultural history, and community connection.

Fine Art of Hip Hop is a Miami-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to advancing Hip Hop culture through murals, exhibitions, education, and community-based arts programming.
