Hip-Hop Dance Classes in San Mateo

Hip Hop dance is a range of street dance styles primarily performed to hip hop music or that have evolved as part of hip hop culture. It is influenced by a wide range of styles that were created in the 1970s and made popular by dance crews in the United States. The television show Soul Train and the 1980s films Breakin’, Beat Street, and Wild Style showcased these crews and dance styles in their early stages; therefore, giving hip-hop dance mainstream exposure.

We invite you to come to our weekly hip-hop group classes, where we create a very fun and friendly atmosphere for you to have a good time and express yourself! Even if you never danced in your life, in our group dance lessons you will feel comfortable and leave each class excited for the next dance lesson!

CLASS DESCRIPTION:

Beginner Level: Learn the foundations and techniques of Hip-Hop dance in this beginner-friendly class. This class will introduce you to Hip-Hop party moves and top rocking to help kick off your dance journey. All levels are welcome!

$20 drop-in (New Students Only, Save $5)
