Info: As federal and state legislators accelerate their focus on health data privacy and cybersecurity, health system executives face a compliance and risk landscape that is shifting faster than most organizations are currently prepared to address. This keynote examines the legislative proposals advancing at both the federal and state level, with particular attention to implications for health information technology governance, patient data rights and organizational liability exposure. Drawing on deep expertise in health privacy policy, Tina Grande will help attendees distinguish between near-term compliance obligations and the longer-term structural changes these proposals signal for how health systems must approach data stewardship, vendor accountability and enterprise risk management. Executives will leave with a clearer view of what is coming, what they should be doing now and where the most significant areas of legal and operational exposure lie.
