Hilton’s contribution to South African music is immense — from his pioneering work with The Genuines, African Dream, Iconoclast, and Sons of Table Mountain, to his solo legacy that bridges Cape jazz, goema, and experimental sounds. This launch celebrates both heritage and innovation. Performing with his acclaimed trio — Clayton Norman Pretorius (bass) and Kurt Bowers (drums) — and featuring Abraham Mennen (saxophone), Hilton presents a journey through Cape jazz, goema, and original compositions on piano and electronics.
