Jazzville brings the Hilo Hi-Flyers to Palm Springs for a night of tropical mid-century "exotica" music. Their unique sound follows the musical tradition of Martin Denny and Arthur Lyman, while blending elements of hot swing and the Rat Pack era of jazz.One of the band's standout features is their focus on creating a vibe that transports the listener, much like that of a classic film score. The use of exotic instruments and sounds is essential to the authenticity of mid-century "exotica" music, and these stellar musicians where born to play them.
