Hill Family Biking: Garfield Park Re-Opening Littles Ride

Join Hill Family Biking for our second ever Littles Ride - similar to our standard monthly ride but catered to riders ages 3-6 on trikes, balance bikes, training wheel and first pedal bikes with a shorter route, approximately 1 mile starting at Stanton Parkending at Garfield Park. Garfield Park has been renovated over the past year and is back open for business. Join us to celebrate this great new community resource .

Older siblings are welcome to ride along, but we ask that they either stay behind or ride alongside their younger sibling(s). We also ask that all parents be ON bikes. We promise your child is faster than you think and the critical mass and ride marshals will keep them safe.

We’ll have volunteers marshaling to ensure we stay together as a group. MPD bike team will also be participating in the ride to connect officers with the community.

If your family’s bikes need some TLC, please come 15 minutes early to get some assistance–we will have bike maintenance tools available, as well as some experienced amateur bike mechanics on hand to assist.

By agreeing to participate in this event, you agree that you are granting Hill Family Biking the irrevocable and unrestricted right to use and publish photographs and/or videos taken of you and/or your children at the event for which you are registering, in which you may be included, for use on Hill Family Biking social media, promotional materials, and website. You also agree to release Hill Family Biking and its legal representatives and assigns from all claims and liability relating to said photographs/videos.

You also recognize and agree that Hill Family Biking has not undertaken any duty or responsibility for your or your children’s safety, and you agree to assume the full responsibility for all risk of bodily injury and/or property damage as a result of participating in the ride. By participating in the ride, you agree to hold Hill Family Biking, its board members, and its volunteers harmless and will not seek reimbursement from them for any injury sustained or liability otherwise incurred during a ride.
