Seven Sisters & Beachy Head — the coastal day out you will talk about all week
Fancy a proper reset by the sea? Come and join us for one of the most iconic coastal walks in England: huge chalk cliffs, endless views, fresh salty air, and non-stop photo moments. This one is a full-day adventure with great company and a well-earned “we did it” feeling at the end.
What to expect (the useful bits):
Meet: 8:30 am at Victoria Station (near Boots)
Route: Eastbourne to East Dean, via Beachy Head and the Seven Sisters cliffs
Distance: 18 km (11 miles)
Walking time: around 6 hours (steady pace + a picnic stop)
Difficulty: 5/10 (moderate—some ups and downs, nothing wild)
Back in London: roughly 8:00 pm
Bring: comfy walking shoes/boots, waterproofs (coast weather likes surprises), 1–2L water, lunch for the picnic, and a bit of cash if you fancy the pub afterwards. Dogs are welcome on lead.
Price: Members go free. Non-members £12 (group transport option available).
If you have been meaning to get out of London and do something that genuinely feels like a mini-holiday, this is the one. See you at Victoria—let’s go earn those cliff views.
