Arrival Time: 7:00 am (Eaton Flats Parking Lot)
Start Time: 7:20 am sharp
*Please be on time, we will leave promptly at 7:20 am.
We'll be meeting there at 4:45 am to leave at 5:00 am sharp to get to the trailhead at 7:10 am.
Parking Cost: You will need an Adventure Pass to park in the parking lot or sides of the road. You can purchase an Adventure Pass here:

Things to bring with you:
1. Backpack
2. 4to 5 liters of water (bottles or bladder)
3. Snacks (preferably salty snacks, protein bars, energy chews/gels)
4. Lunch (sandwich, chips)
5. Trail Running Shoes or Hiking Boots
6. Extra t-shirt, socks, underwear, shorts
7. Trekking poles (if you need them, I will have a set of you need to borrow some)
8. Hat
9. Sunscreen
10. Small First Aid Kit
11. Sunglasses
12. Swimwear
13. Good attitude, we don't need any Debbie downers.

1. Head north on Truxtun Ave toward Truxtun Ave
2. Turn left onto H St
3. Turn right onto California Ave
4. Use the right lane to take the CA-99 S ramp
5. Merge onto CA-99 S
6. Keep left to stay on CA-99 S
7. Merge onto I-5 S
8. Use the left 3 lanes to stay on I-5 S
9. Keep left to stay on I-5 S
10. Use the right lane to keep right at the fork and stay on I-5 S
11. Use the right 2 lanes to take exit 161A for I-210 E toward Pasadena
12. Keep right at the fork to stay on I-210 E, follow signs for San Bernardino
13. Continue straight to stay on I-210 E (signs for San Bernardino)
14. Use the right 2 lanes to take exit 38 for Irwindale Avenue
15. Use the left 2 lanes to turn left onto Irwindale Ave
16. Use the right 2 lanes to turn right onto E Foothill Blvd/W Historic Rte 66 E
17. Use the left 2 lanes to turn left onto N Todd Ave
18. Turn right onto Sierra Madre Ave
19. Turn left onto State Rte 39 N/San Gabriel Canyon Rd
20. Turn right onto E Fork Rd
21. Turn left onto Camp Bonita Rd
22. Turn left
23. Arrive at location: Parking lot
