Join Phoenix Shapers for the inaugural Hikes for Healing, a transformative project dedicated to fostering mental well-being, forging connections, and restoring the natural beauty of hiking trails. On Saturday, June 10th, at 5:00 AM, we invite you to embark on a journey towards personal and environmental rejuvenation.

Meet us at the parking lot near Holbert Trailhead and get ready to explore the trail with our experienced guides. The trail will lead us to the summit, where the awe-inspiring Dobbins Lookout awaits. Once at the Lookout, we will engage in a collective effort to remove litter from Dobbins Lookout and restore its pristine condition. By dedicating our time to healing nature, we will simultaneously nurture our own well-being. A City of Phoenix South Mountain Park & Preserve Park Ranger will also meet us at Dobbins Lookout for the cleanup to provide guidance and history of the South Mountain Preserve area. Trash bags, buckets, gloves, and grabbers will be provided. Please bring your own water, and wear appropriate hiking attire and gear. Some supplies will be available on a limited basis such as sunscreen, Band-Aids, etc. Please note: The trail is a 4.2-mile out-and-back trail, generally considered a moderately challenging route. Global Shapers Phoenix and City of Phoenix are not responsible for any personal injury or property damage sustained through this hike.
