Since the era of silent movies, the land known today as Malibu Creek State Park has been the backdrop of countless films and worldwide settings - especially when it was owned by 20th Century Fox from 1946 to 1974. Join a docent for a 3 mile moderate hike to where cameras once rolled and directors yelled "Action." Meet at 10am in the park's Main Trailhead Parking Lot by the restrooms. Location: Malibu Creek State Park, 1925 Las Virgenes Rd. Calabasas. Parking fee: $3 an hour, $12 maximum. Sorry, dogs are not permitted on trails. Rain cancels.
