Learn all about “hoo” is flying about in your forest! Discover the interesting adaptations that make owls so unique and stealthy before heading outside and listening for these incredible nocturnal creatures. Program starts with a sit-down, indoor presentation followed by a silent hike on the trail. The hike is 0.5 miles rated as moderate due to hiking in the darkness with likely snow. This program is recommended for ages 8 and up but all are welcome. Adult must register and attend with child. No headlamps. Flashlights must have a red-light setting. Dress well for outdoor weather.
