Hike Mohonk's Labyrinth, and Giants Workshop, and Lemon Squeeze!

Greetings!

Explore hike and rock scramble playgrounds from the Labyrinth, the Lemon Squeeze, and the Tower for sweeping vistas that will take your breath away.

The big event is followed by a refreshing outdoor apres hike social bite and brew before heading home! An impressive FULL day out in nature and a great adventure.

Date: Saturday, June 3, 2023

Time: 9:00 AM in Split Rock parking lot on Clove Road for Mohonk Preserve

Cost: ~$15 Trail use fee per person paid to Park Ranger at Gate

Distance: Approx. ~9+ Miles

Vertical Gain: Under 800' with rock scrambles

Terrain: Carriage trails, primitive trails, sweeping vistas, boulder fields, boulder cave, and ladders

Level: No novices, no pets

RIDESHARE - you will be assigned based in order of available seats. Rideshare contributions are $30 CASH per person. ALL Rideshare passengers are required to wear face coverings on ride.

RAIN CANCELS - Registrants will be notified via text or email provided at registration.

FOLLOW-UP: Emails will be sent out Thursday evening with confirmation, including rideshare connections. Your cell phone number will be texted if there are last minute changes and updates. Cell service lot and parking lot in area is lacking.

Bring:

• Hiking shoes or boots
• 2-3+ liters of hydration depending on how much you drink when vigorously working out
• Lunch (if you're joining us afterward snacks will suffice)
• Daypack to leave your hands free on scrambles
• Cash for trail fee, rideshare (if applicable), and apres hike bite and brew (if joining us)

OPTIONAL (not needed but something to think about):

• Climbing or biking gloves
• Camera
• Bug repellent
• Hat
• Mohonk member pass (if you have one)
• Spare shirt/top for after the hike (very handy)
• Spare shoes for the comfortable ride up and back
• ID if you intend to throw back some brews
• Emergency meds if needed e.g. epi needle

REGISTRATION REQUIRED 

Because we will have dinner reservations the hike will start on time where possible so plan on arriving early to insure you get a parking spot and can catch up with us. If the lot is full by the time we arrive I will contact all drivers via the cell number you provided (cell service is limited in area).

Please let us know if you have a car and can offer ride shares (how many passengers and from where are you driving); or are a passenger and need a ride (each participant must register individually here; $30 donation to the driver is expected.
