PARTY LOVER Carlisle’s independent event promoter is super excited to announce a forward-thinking partnership with LOUD & BRIGHT, Cumbria’s leading sound and lighting specialist, and BOX Arena the ultimate multi-room event space in Carlisle. This disco-centric partnership will create a platform for local artists to perform alongside a sparkling line up of special guests, and bring the party lovers of Cumbria and beyond together, in UNITY.
On 30th November 2024, we will be kicking off the Christmas party season with a bang! With the launch of daytime dancing at Carlisle City Discotheque, HIGHlife. DJs and Entertainers will be bringing a cross-over of genres and styles, ranging from soul drenched party jams, beefed-up house classics and tweaked disco vibes. Impressive stage screens, lighting, sound, confetti cannonsand surprises.
Funking the place up in serious style will be special guests Midnight Riot, voted by Mixmag as one of the most influential disco labels of the past decade, with a diversity of sounds from a global line-up of artists such as Dr Packer, Michael Gray, Joey Negro and more. Gracing the decks with Purple Disco Machine, Todd Terry, Melvo Baptiste and honing their sound on some of the hottest dancefloors on the planet inc. Defected, Glitterbox, Ministry of Sound, Horse Meat Disco, Glastonbury, and the legendary Pikes in Ibiza.
Head honcho Andy Williams aka Yam Who? and Phil Rose aka Jaegerossa, will bring the sound of Midnight Riot to the BOX Arena, with all sorts of party goodness. Alongside local DJ’s + Guests inc. Mally Chung, Adam Brown, Female duo Party Lovers, Fascino with live Percussionist and more. In the Deep Corner Dead Horse Gang with local support inc. Party Eh and special guest Heaven (1st ever female Resident at Ministry of Sound 95-04) Plus local favourites in the Soul Lovers Lounge.
We’ve even got the After Party covered! Father and Son, Patrick and El Irwin will be taking us back to the old school in BELOW.
