Highlander Community Day is one of our favorite neighborhood traditions in the Highlander neighborhood of North Omaha!
Join us on Saturday, August 22 for a day celebrating the people, places, and partnerships that make Highlander feel like home.
Now in its 8th year, Community Day brings together neighbors, families, partners, and friends for live music, food, games, community resources, and fun for all ages. It is a chance to spend time with community, connect with organizations and resources, support local vendors, and celebrate the progress that continues to grow in the neighborhood.
What to expect:
- Family-friendly activities, including bounce houses, games, and face painting
- Community organizations and resources to connect with
- Live performances, a DJ, and a community dance party
- Opportunities to explore the Highlander Accelerator
- Highlander-branded merchandise
- Food from Highlander restaurants, available while supplies last
Highlander Community Day is free and open to the community. We are grateful to the neighbors, partners, volunteers, and supporters who help make this celebration possible each year.
