Spring is come to the highlands of Artemisia, and the people are eager to shrug off the cloak of winter. What we need is some proper sport to make hearts race and faces smile! Join us in Stonegate as we bid thalla! to the cold and welcome the warmth of the sun.The Highland Games in Stonegate will feature caber toss, stone throw, tug-o-war, and a relay race. Additionally there will be a Greatsword tournament for armored fighters. For the youth of the kingdom there will be many activities including their own versions of the games!
There will be an A&S display for any artisans who wish to share their works, and there will be classes.
A lunch fundraiser featuring hand pies will be available.

Location:Bannock County Event Center Building B, 10560 Fairground Dr, Pocatello, ID 83202
Directions: Proceed north or south on Interstate 15, to exit 71 (Pocatello Creek Road). Turn east on Pocatello Creek Road and go to the first non-interstate light at Olympus Drive, where you will turn left/north. Proceed until you reach the next light at Fairground Drive, where you will turn left. Follow Fairground Dr. past the RV park and Event Center buildings until you come to the main entrance on the right. Look for the Stonegate / SCA sign. Court and classes will take place in the B Building, and fighting and outdoor activities will take place in the track infield.
Site specifics: The site is discreetly damp, period-appropriate containers please.
