High Wire Act: Comedy Without a Net is stand-up comedy with the safety net removed. Each month, host Anthony Nobles brings together some of Hampton Roads’ funniest comedians and challenges them to create an entire stand-up routine on the spot.
No prepared material. No set list. No time to panic.
The comics take a topic from the audience and have to turn it into comedy right before your eyes. It’s part stand-up, part improv, and completely unpredictable. Sometimes they’ll absolutely crush it. Sometimes they’ll spectacularly crash and burn. Either way, you’re going to have a great time.
Come see seasoned veterans and fearless newcomers take the same stage, step up to the microphone, and find out if they have what it takes to make you laugh without a net.
