High Summer is an eight-piece ensemble from Burlington, Vermont, known for groove-driven, dynamic live performances that balance power, restraint, and collective feel. Led by vocalist Miriam Bernardo, the band blends neo-soul, jazz, rock, and afrobeat into warm, spacious arrangements anchored by a deep-pocket rhythm section and richly textured horns.
Formed through years of collaboration in Vermont’s creative music scene, High Summer brings a strong ensemble identity to the stage, favoring musical clarity, momentum, and emotional connection over excess. Their debut album, For The World, recorded live at Tank Recording Studio, has established the band as a compelling new voice with both polish and presence, equally at home on festival stages, performing arts series, and outdoor community events.
“High Summer’s live presence is clockwork-tight through complex rhythms, creating a tapestry of sound that is always intriguing and never overbearing.”
— Seven Days
“A groove-forward ensemble with remarkable depth, balance, and musical maturity.”
— Burlington Free Press

MINC delivers a vibrant fusion of soul, funk, and pop, drawing inspiration from an eclectic mix of artists like Amy Winehouse, Stevie Wonder, Couch, Foo Fighters, and Snarky Puppy. Fronted by vocalist Satori Rossi and backed by a rotating cast of skilled youth instrumentalists, MINC is quickly becoming one of Vermont’s standout youth acts. They’re headed out on tour this summer and planning to release their recently recorded EP in the Spring of 2027.
