We are back on Thursday 1st October with our High Street Market that is run by community volunteers for the 4 villages and beyond communities.
We are at the Shirehampton Methodist Church/Hub on the corner of High Street and Penpole Avenue, BS11 0DY from 9am until 2pm. We hire this fabulous venue each month. It is a larger space and we have more market stalls showcasing their wonderful wares & food selections in the foyer, main hall, market kitchen community room and the car park at the back of the building.
You will be supporting small businesses with each purchase you make, whilst they continue to provide us with great service, fabulous goods that you'll love as well as keeping them in business.
We don't have a butchers stall, pet supplies stall, fruit and veg stall, phone stall, carpets/rug stall etc because they are independent shops on our very own High Street and we want you to visit them too when you visit our market.
We have fantastic range of Market Stalls providing our market with a wonderful selection of foods, arts, crafts, jewellery, books, photography, homeware, children's clothing, toys, clocks, personal care, ceramics, woodcrafts, plants, flowers, bags, plenty of gifts to choose from for every occasion and community stalls providing advice, information and help. You'll find goods and produce not available on our High Street. Make Market Day Your Treat Day.
Shop, eat, drink & enjoy all under one roof. Buy and stay for a breakfast with a difference, stay for lunch, stay for a cuppa & cake, meet up with family and friends and enjoy the community spirit! Don't forget to buy a take-away for dinner. You'll find our street food sellers in the car park at the back of the building or just follow the wonderful food aromas wafting in your direction. Our Market Kitchen provides refreshments and homemade cakes (made by Sherralee) throughout the day including a gluten/dairy free option. Where else could you get a cuppa & a piece of cake for £1.50? The cheapest in the area.
Join our Arts, Crafts, & Conversation activity where you'll find 'Poppies On The Green' running their 'Painting Poppies Session' from 10am until 1.30pm. Open to all ages, materials provided. Be part of the 'Poppies On The Green' Display that you'll see this November.
We also have board games table if you fancy a game of Ludo, Snakes & Ladders, Bounce, Connect 4 and Chess. We hear there may be a game of Monopoly on its way to us soon! We also colouring sheets that you can loose yourself in and relax in the moment whilst you sit down and have a cuppa.
