Covering only the best in high energy rock/pop classics from the 80s, 90s, and 00s, High School Reunion (aka HSR) conjures memories of simpler times – just like a high school reunion! Based here in Winston-Salem, and making its public debut in November 2021, HSR has quickly built a reputation of being the best party band in the Piedmont Triad. You may have seen HSR rocking the stage at Fiddlin’ Fish’s annual throwback prom party, the Gears & Guitars festival, the Carolina Classic Fair, or at High Point’s Stock + Grain Assembly. Every HSR show is a non-stop party!
This December, HSR will make its Gas Hill Drinking Room debut with its epic Christmas Vacation extravaganza. Channeling Clark Griswold’s indomitable holiday energy, HSR will perform two sets of music – a rousing set of your favorite throwback holiday songs plus an extended set of HSR classics and crowd-pleasers. To get into the spirit of the season, attendees are strongly encouraged to wear their favorite ugly Christmas sweaters and/or Christmas Vacation-inspired duds!
HSR and Gas Hill Drinking Room have partnered with The Shalom Project of Winston Salem for this event – a portion of the proceeds will be donated to The Shalom Project, and there will be collection bins on-site for show attendees to bring in donations of freshly washed, in-season clothing, shoes, and accessories for all sizes and ages.
