Sade Adu, the queen of quiet storm, is already well known for her explorations of a softer kind of soul but Janet Jackson's legacy is a bit more varied. The architecht behind pop hits like "All for You" and "If," Jackson also worked within the quiet storm style especially on 1994's masterpiece The Velvet Rope.

On April 26th DJs Holiday Kirk and Warmbedrooms will bring the two artists together for Velvet Deluxe: Janet x Sade, an innovative DJ set featuring songs by Sade, Janet Jackson, and other contemporary artists woven together into a seamless quilt.
