Jeff Danis grew up in Andover, Massachusetts. Upon graduating college, he moved to New

York City for an internship with the Howard Stern Show. No, he didn't see nudity, so please

stop asking.

After college, Jeff moved to Los Angeles to pursue his dream of working humiliating, soul-

crushing day jobs, while trying his hand at entertainment just for fun. Shortly after moving to LA, Jeff started performing stand up comedy at the world famous Comedy Store. He's a

true Comedy Store product, as he rose up the ranks from the open mic to employee to

finally becoming a paid regular. While working the parking lot there, he crashed Pauly

Shore's car and somehow was not fired. However, Mitzi Shore, who was Pauly’s mother and

the club owner, once walked by Jeff and decided to fire him for having a beard. Despite this,

once again, he somehow wasn’t fired (but he was told to make himself scarce when Mitzi

was around).

Jeff co-created, wrote, and directed the hit web series Daddy Knows Best, which got millions of views online. He’s also written for Comedy Central Digital. Now, that he’s back in

Massachusetts, Jeff can be seen at comedy clubs across New England (and beyond) or

sweating and out of breath, trying to keep up with his two young children.
