Freddie J Watts & The Hot Rocks
Freddie J Watts has been championed by Still Listening Magazine as a “collision of Nick Cave's gothic allure, Lou Reed’s grimy romanticism and Johnny Cash's steadfast, salt-of-the-earth wisdom”. Here to lasso your ears with their psych country cowboy rock, the Brighton-based alt-folk artist recently released their cinematic debut EP, ‘At Every Turn’, via Strong Island Recordings (Los Bitchos, Ugly, Rosie Alena). The EP’s glam-tinged lead single ‘Entwined’, featuring contributions from Ella Oona Russell and Nina Winderlind of The New Eves, earned praise from The Most Radicalist and beyond. Live, Watts has headlined Green Door Store and shared stages with Brighton favourites such as Maximilian, The Roebucks, Nina Kohout and Goodbye, performing with their live band, The Hot Rocks, which features members of The New Eves, Flip Top Head, Trip Westerns and Ideal Living.

Le Lamb
Described as “refreshingly odd” by Brighton Source, mysterious art-rock newcomers Le Lamb offer a psychedelic experience like no other, where early fans have already come to expect the unexpected. Despite having no official releases to their name, the Brighton five-piece have sparked a wildfire of word-of-mouth hype, selling out their debut headline show at The Brunswick before topping subsequent bills at The Folklore Rooms and Daltons and supporting Baby Gem at a packed out Green Door Store. Prepare to be initiated into their theatrical, 60s-inspired world.
