Hibernian Orchestra Spring Concert

The Hibernian Orchestra are delighted to present an evening of rich colour, lyricism and symphonic power in the beautiful surroundings of St. Mary's, Haddington Road.

The programme opens with Claude Debussy's Petite Suite , a charming and evocative work filled with impressionistic warmth.

We are thrilled to welcome flute soloist Rachel Nolan for Jacques Ibert's sparkling Concerto for Flute and Orchestra - a virtuosic and spirited showcase that highlights the brilliance and expressive range of the instrument.

The concert concludes with César Franck's magnificent Symphony in D minor , a sweeping and passionate masterpiece of the French Romantic repertoire, renowned for its powerful themes and dramatic intensity.

Under the baton of John Finucane, this promises to be an inspiring and memorable evening of orchestral music.
