Drawing inspiration from Alice in Chains, Mazzy Star and PJ Harvey, London’s House of Women craft haunting, heavy alt-rock defined by its shadowy atmosphere, explosive guitar riffs and mammoth choruses. Backed by Kerrang! and So Young Magazine, and championed by Alyx Holcombe on her BBC Radio 1 Music Introducing Rock show, the five-piece are set to release their second EP, ‘Starstruck’, this September - with its lead single, ‘Like It Did Before’, being featured on Spotify’s editorial playlist Melomania. Renowned for their captivating live show, House of Women broke the record for the most show sign-ups ever at The Shacklewell Arms and have sold out venues including The Lexington and Brighton’s The Rossi Bar. Their growing reputation has seen them play festivals such as All Points East, 2000trees, Are You Listening? and Wanderlust, with a Paris debut lined up at Supersonic Club’s They’re Gonna Be Big festival later this year.
