This concert event will take place in the Grand Ballroom at Venue Chisca. The space was originally industrial – a warehouse with triple brick walls and LOTS of resonance – and has been transformed into a remarkably elegant space with the addition of chandeliers and state of the art lighting. We are bring Beethoven “to you, the people” - in a chamber space where the audience can be seated among the musicians. You’ll be able to listen to some of Beethoven’s greatest music with an immediacy unlike any you’ve experienced before. Imagine Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony emerging all around you, as you experience the different orchestral sections coming together in the magic of the ensemble process. Maestro Commanday will be the guide to how Beethoven’s works are conceived and unfold in time. Beethoven’s 1st Symphony, his most “classical”, and Coriolan Overture, his most dramatic, lend depth to this evening’s musical journey.
