HEY WHAT’S UP TONIGHT BECAUSE TUESDAY! is an extremely highly demanded, hugely anticipated, must-see double act Tuesday night stand-up show with Shannon Brooke and Luī Beča, hosted by Maya Upchurch. You do not want to miss this because it’s FINALLY happening - women from Latvia, Australia and Poland, come together in Germany to serve their best jokes and give the performance of a life time on this special Tuesday. Maya Upchurch is a high-energy force of Gen-Z nature who loves to hop on stage with her sassy, dark and aggressive rants and opinions. She also makes fun of herself, bringing light to her time-wasting habits and irrational anxieties, which allows her to make fun of others twice as hard (or at least that’s how she thinks it works).

Her Polish/American heritage gives her a unique and interesting perspective on what it’s like to have two passports and a lot of privilege and a generally good life. She started doing standup in Poland in February of 2020 and immediately after her first show there was lockdown because China was scared of her power. Since then, she’s relocated to Berlin and has toured all over Europe.

SHANNON BROOKE (AUS)

Shannon is an Australian comedian based in Berlin, and that’s basically her entire personality. After growing up performing theater and clowning, she launched her career in 2018 with a sold-out cabaret comedy show titled “Grandma”. She entered the stand-up comedy scene in 2020 as a result of encouragement from other comedians, and in her first year of stand up, she was a semifinalist in the Queensland RAW comedy competition and a grand finalist in the Brat Pack Comedy competition. Known for her storytelling, passion and absurdity, Shannon can be spotted telling jokes all over Europe.

LUĪ BEČA (LAT)

Luī Beča’s stand up is adorably awkward, heart-warmingly genuine and full of unexpected punchlines. A fresh perspective on Gen-Z LGBTQ+ identity faced with growing up in a conservative family in Eastern Europe; sprinkled with tales of immigrating to Berlin and finding her feet as a young adult in the era of political and environmental uncertainty. You’ll laugh, cry and want to become her best friend after!
