Welcome to the Hey Thanks Theatre Lab, a new Edinburgh scratch night!

In our lab, our writers are testing out some new pieces and experiementing with exciting ideas. Now all we need are some lab rats- uh, I mean audience members- to give feedback and enjoy the show. Join us for a night new work from emerging creatives in Edinburgh, you won't want to miss out!

We believe that scratch nights are an important way to provide space and audiences for writers, directors, and actors to continue making work. Our tiered ticketing system allows for those who have the means to, to support us in continuing to host more events like this. ACCESSIBILITY (from the Augustines Church Page)

Physical Access

The main entrance to the church is up four steps with a handrail. Step free access is available via a door to the right of the building, please ring the bell for attention. Please note that there is a tight turn in this passageway. Access to the sanctuary and ground floor level for Sunday services is step free and there is a ramp to enable access on to the dais/stage. There is no need to make advance arrangements.

There is lift access to the lower levels of the building (for events held in Mull and the Studio). If you require use of the lift, please contact us in advance so that we can ensure that the caretaker is available to assist. A standard accessible toilet is available on the ground floor and lower level.
