On Valentine's Day 2025, stroll at dusk through the Sanctuary listening for the calls of owls and enjoying all the beauty and love in this wonderful and sacred space preserved for birds and wildlife.
Thomas Sadler Roberts was born on February 16, 1858, and we think he would be pleased to know we celebrate our shared love of birds in honor of his birthday and legacy.
This free event is for singles, couples and families. Meet at the visitors shelter at the east entrance. Bring a flashlight or headlamp and be prepared for winter trail conditions--wear layers and boots. We'll supply cookies and hot cocoa, and please bring your own cup, if possible.
