This event is day 1 of a weekend of urban orienteering in Hertfordshire, Co-hosted between Hertfordshire Orienteering Club and WAOC. Day 2 will be in the historic city of St Albans.

For day 1 of the Hertfordshire Urban Weekend, West Anglian Orienteering Club are pleased to offer an Urban Event in the charming market town of Hertford on Saturday October 25th 2025. The town is at the confluence of four rivers, with a proliferation of bridges and underpasses providing some interesting route choices. The town centre is flat, but there is a steep hill at the North for those doing the longer courses to enjoy. The start and finish are on Hartham common where the junior courses spend most of their time.
The event is a Regional (level ‘C) event and is part of the UK Urban League and East Anglian Urban League.
