HERstory Luncheon 2023

Did you know that 1 in 3 high school girls in the United States has seriously considered suicide? Maybe you've heard that 57% of teenage girls have reported feeling "persistently sad or hopeless" according to a recent CDC study. 

The 5th Annual HERstory Luncheon, themed "MastHERpiece in Progress," seeks to defy these statistics by providing an environment for enterprising women who have taped into their inherent tenacity to help empower the next generation of dynamic women. 

The event will connect female mentors with female students they can inspire and nurture after attending this annual luncheon, co-hosted by Traci L. Battest, principal of Ed White High School. Tickets include lunch and an event t-shirt for the student and sponsor to be worn at the event on Thursday, March 30 with their denim and diamonds.

This year, we are planning to establish 5 academic or business scholarships in honor of the event's 5th anniversary because we believe the future is female.
