HERstory 25: Cultural Alchemy 'InHERwoven Realities'

Debbie Allen proudly presents HERstory: in honor of Women's History Month, a month-long celebration of the power of women. Showcasing a rich collection across fine arts, film, music, dance, and writing, HERstory transcends perspectives as this celebration documents a diversity in heritage that parallels identity, femininity and the connection of our inner and outer worlds.
Join us March 9th at Cultural Alchemy: “InHERwoven” Realities An esteemed panel convenes pioneering fine artists to interrogate the significant contributions of women in the arts, particularly the transformative influence of Black women. This illuminating dialogue will explore the nexus of art, activism, and curatorship, shedding light on the imperative for institutional change within the art world, specifically how these artists challenge cultural narratives and redefine representation.

Debbie Allen Dance Academy is a 501(c)3 non profit organization that offers a comprehensive dance curriculum to students ages four and up. With an extensive outreach and influence in communities broadening to all depths of the artistic process, DADA is proud to serve as a creative epicenter of the arts in our new home, Rhimes Performing Arts Center.
