We're back again this year with another epic Celebration of the Arts , in Honor of Women's History Month!
About this Event

Debbie Allen proudly presents HERstory: in honor of Women's History Month, a vibrant and diverse annual celebration of women’s historical and modern day contributions to art, culture, and society. Every March, we engage the public in a dynamic array of conversations showcasing art, culture, and storytelling from communities of all identities and experiences. By partnering with local institutions and organizations across disciplines, from arts education to social justice, environmental advocacy to cultural heritage, HERstory creates space for accessibility, learning, and meaningful community engagement. Together, we celebrate the past, honor the present, and shape a more inclusive future.

an intimate gallery-style panel conversation rooted in the power of creativity to find light in a dark and uncertain world. Featuring some of today’s most exciting emerging fine artists, this candid exchange explores how trailblazing women use art as both refuge and resistance, transforming pain, joy, and lived experience into work that heals, challenges, and inspires.Through honest storytelling, shared wisdom, and behind-the-scenes insight, these artists reveal the lessons, risks, and resilience required to protect their creative voice and build something lasting.
MEN WHO LOVE WOMEN: Next Gen Edition
moderated by Norman Nixon
features a special panel celebrating the next generation of young male leaders who are carrying the torch of respect, admiration, and love for women in today’s society. Our featured youth will share how they are learning from the legacies of those before them and discuss the importance of teaching and inspiring the next generation to continue uplifting and honoring women in every facet of life.

PowHER Play: Redefining Legacy in Film, Sports, Design & Culture

With more than 70% of DADA Academy students on some for financial aid, we understand the power of dance to transform lives whether giving a student an opportunity to dance in our Academy, a child their first theatrical experience, or used as a tool for building community and healing. For more information on Academy, Middle School and community outreach programs please click here https://www.debbieallendanceacademy.com/waystogive
