Join NCSU undergraduate students and herpetology enthusiasts Ana Sapp (@a.sappshots) and Ben Zino (@thewildreport) for an introduction to capturing photos and videos of reptiles and amphibians! Ana is an experienced wildlife photographer and storyteller who has presented her work at a conference for the International League of Conservation Photographers, and Ben has been producing educational science videos for his YouTube channel, The Wild Report, for almost six years, with an audience of over 30,000 subscribers. Throughout the session, you can expect to learn what to do before, during, and after an encounter with a wild reptile or amphibian that will allow you to capture the moment and share your experience with the world. Come ready to connect with other wildlife enthusiasts and have fun!

Requirements: A device that is capable of capturing photos and videos. Modern cell phones, point-and-shoot cameras, DSLRs, or any other media capture device you might happen to have will work!

Activity Level: Light
Ages 16 and older. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
