Heroes of the Underworld II: Enemy to All, Call Me Monster, Kin of None

Heroes of the Underworld is a reoccurring live event created by Matthew A. Carrillo that showcases independent local metal acts based primarily in the Kentuckiana and Louisville areas. Sponsored by award winning local artist and lead singer of Jupiter Knight, Jamie Jessica Henshaw, who gives back to the local metal scene by hosting a $300 graphic design give away every show, HotU provides the bands on the bill with a guaranteed performance pay out as well as an additional incentive pay out based on attendance. In addition, each band receives a written interview, a review of a single selection of their original material, and invites from the profiles of the show’s staff to follow and like their band’s Facebook page all posted and sent in the week leading up to the show itself, which routinely occurs on Sundays.
