Another wonderful night of dancing at our weekly dance at Fleetwood’s in West Asheville!! Come out and join us as we tear up the dance floor to the music brought to us by one of our favorite local bands- Heavenly Vipers at our weekly location!!
Dress up like your favorite Hero or Villain! We will have a costume contest and tasty snacks!! We will also be running a 50/50 raffle as well as raffles for various donated art pieces! Money raised will go to purchasing a snap dance floor!!
Lesson: 7-8
Dance: 8-11
$5 for the lesson
$10 for the dance
The Lesson:
Will continue our development of swing dance fundamentals of 6-count swing (also known as East Coast Swing or Jitterbug). The lesson is appropriate for dancers with no dance background at all, those wishing to review the fundamentals, or more experienced dancers wanting to meet new people and help grow our community.
The Dance:
Heavenly Vipers will play a variety of danceable tempos ranging from western to surf rock to jazz!
Host & Venue:
Fleetwood’s is our gracious hosts. Their friendly staff will help you quench the thirst you work up on the dance floor.
