Hero for HeartKids is back on the 14th June and we're encouraging you to dress as your favourite superhero and lead the fight against congenital or childhood acquired heart disease.Join us to launch the campaign on Friday 3rd May and show your support to real life superheroes as they zipline 400m across the Swan River to raise funds for HeartKids.
Participating in the bridge climb and zipline will be;
- Perth Children's Hospital, cardiac and surgical staff including: Mr David Andrews, Dr Stephen Shipton and Dr John Artrip
- Brave and courageous heart kids
- HeartKids Ambassador, Nova's morning announcer and our event Master of Ceremonies, Ross Wallman
- Heart kid parents, grandparents and supporters.
There'll be face painting and a visit from Perth Allied Costumers between 10am and 12pm. Rapid Relief Team will be serving free signature burgers and cold drinks for all participants and spectators.
Formalities commence at 10.30am with the first zipline at approximately 11.30am.
While we encourage you to attend from 10am, you are not committed by your registration, to be there for the entire time. If you are coming along to support a family member or friend, we suggest you check what time they are ziplining closer to the event.
Registration for this FREE event is required for catering purposes.
