About this Event
There’s truly no place like home. Beyond the personal connection we feel to where we live, our homes carry stories of their own. If your walls could talk, what might they say? What insights could they offer about Queensland’s social, cultural, and environmental history? And who decides how these stories are preserved?
In our final Heritage talk of the year, we’ll explore the concept of Queensland’s heritage homes; from the iconic 'Queenslander' style to the workings of the Queensland heritage register.
After the talks, immerse yourself in our architectural history with a hands-on experience, exploring a curated selection of original materials from State Library’s collections.
