Heresymania presents: Galaxy in the Ring! A Horus Heresy narrative event held at Dropzone Games in Nanaimo B.C.
Event Details:
Traitors vs Loyalist
3000 pts (you may bring 500 points of sideboard options to swap before each game if you wish).
2 Games on Saturday the 18th, 2 Games on Sunday the 19th
The first 3 missions will be those from the Core Rulebook - with 1 other provided on Sunday
Any rules published up to and on the day may be used.
Terrain rules will be those from the book, please discuss with your opponent before each game to assign terrain types on the board
Spirit of Game:
This is a narrative event designed around having a good time in the heresy setting. There are no prizes for 1st place or stomping your opponent. Chasing the meta will be met with scorn, not praise. Let's see those cool bespoke lists and units!
Things to Bring:
Players are expected to bring their army, dice, tape measure, all relevant rules publications (physical or digital), and objective markers
Painting/Modeling:
Players are not required to play with fully painted armies as we try and grow the community, but it is HIGHLY encouraged. Your army will need to be painted with a minimum of 3 colors with a detailed/textured base to be considered painted ( and thus eligible for the raffle prize for fully painted). On Saturday we'l ask all players to setup their armies before going for lunch for photos.
