One part preschool "Show and Tell Day", one part collective resistance, and one part cool, weird art shit — HERE: together is an event unlike any other. October 26th 3-5pm @ Newport Theater

Come to be in community and bring whatever creative force your heart desires. This event is pay-what-you-can ($10 suggested) and we ask that you RSVP whether you're sharing or not.

Is it an act in progress? Sure! A strange talent you want to show off? Ok! Are you a visual artist or a comedian working on a new piece? Tell us about it! This time is for us to witness one another in our multifaceted human expression. There is no expectation that what you share needs to be a polished, completed piece of art. We're defining art loosely, too!

To share please complete the form below. These are on a first come, first served basis. There are 15 slots, we ask that whatever you share sticks to a maximum of 4 minutes.

Whether you want to be in community, socialize, bring a friend, or stop by for a while, we would love to be together with you.

What this event is

HERE: together is a show-and-share/show-and-tell hangout! Come be in community together and bring whatever creative force your heart desires. Is it an act in progress? Sure! A strange talent you want to show off? Ok! Are you a visual artist or a comedian working on a new piece? Tell us about it! This night is for us to witness one another and our multifaceted humanity. There are a total of 15, 4min slots available for performances that will be open on a first-come first-served basis.

What it is not

• A formal production with a live audience. Tech for the evening will be limited. Dressing rooms will not be available, so please take that into consideration.
• A workshop or space for feedback unless explicitly requested by the individual sharing.
• A gig with base pay or tips.

Our venue is up a flight of stairs (no elevator, but there is a private entrance with a railing) and has two all-gender single-stall restrooms onsite. Email us with any accessibility/entry questions at [email protected]
