HERcurls 5 Year Anniversary Celebration

Did you know HERcurls is turning 5 this year? 🥳

Mark your calendar, curlfriend! Haiya opened up our doors March 2020 and we are so excited to host a celebration for our 5-year anniversary! 🍾

Join us for an evening of mesmerizing sights and sounds on Thursday, March 13th from 7-10pm at HERcurls! 🪩✨

Expect a full sensory experience—art projections, lights, scents, tastes, and sounds. Haiya has been putting her whole heart into this, and we can’t wait to share it with you.

This event is free and open to the public, but we ask that you consider donating a $10 minimum per ticket since we are planning on donating these proceeds to these incredible organizations:

• ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union): The ACLU works to defend and preserve individual rights and liberties guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution. They serve all Americans, focusing on issues like free speech, racial justice, reproductive rights, and voting rights.
• Raíces: Raíces is a Texas-based nonprofit that provides legal services, advocacy, and education for immigrants, especially those facing detention and deportation. They serve immigrant communities and families, with an emphasis on Latinx individuals.
• Human Rights Campaign (HRC): HRC is the largest LGBTQ+ advocacy group in the U.S., working to ensure equality for LGBTQ+ individuals. They focus on legal rights, social acceptance, and policy reforms to advance LGBTQ+ rights.
• Planned Parenthood: Planned Parenthood provides reproductive health services, education, and advocacy, including birth control, STD testing, and abortion services. They serve individuals seeking healthcare, with a focus on sexual and reproductive health.
• The Loveland Foundation: The Loveland Foundation is dedicated to providing mental health resources and support for Black women and girls. They focus on offering therapy and wellness programs to address the unique mental health needs of Black communities.
