With over 15 years experience throwing the trashiest 45's only parties on the planet, Herb Lavender (Herbie, for those in the know), is back again to rock the Vic Bar for a bi-annual costume dress-up fest that will have you reminiscing about the days of Poltergeist, Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street and all the other really bad (but really good) scary movies we all grew up watching (well, those of us who remember VCR's that is).It's a high school prom theme this year, but with a scary movie (horror) twist, so come dressed up as your favourite prom (formal) movie theme character, plot twist or story...we'll happily take anything on board.
Music will be provided by the best in the business as Herbie Lavender welcomes DJ's Nova & Mr Lob to assist him with getting your vital organs out on the dance floor for the bloodfest that is Halloween. As always, 45's will be their thang that will get you forgetting about the pain coming your way the next morning.
Expect crazy, themed cocktails from the fine folks at the Vic Bar, too.
It all happens on Halloween night, Friday 31st October, at The Vic Bar in Abbottsford. We kick off at 7pm and only go til 1am, so you can be home in time to clean all the eggs off your front porch.
