About this Event
Are you interested in learning how to work with plant medicine to support healthy blood sugar?
In this class, we will explore the many ways herbs can support healthy blood sugar. Knowledge is power and understanding how our bodies work can help us more effectively support our health.
This class will cover basic endocrine function, herbs that support optimal blood sugar levels and lifestyle practices that are foundational in supporting our vitality. Sometimes we need pharmaceuticals to manage our health.
We will review safe strategies to take herbs while taking pharmaceuticals. Students will have the opportunity to taste several herbs during class.
*These recommendations are not medical advice and are not meant to replace medical advice. Please discuss with your doctor any herbs and supplements you are taking.*
A minimum of 10 students is required to hold this class, so please register early!
Registration ends July 19th at 2pm.
About the Instructor, Colleen Zuntag, RH (AHG): The heart of my herbal practice is rooted in a deep belief in the healing power of Nature. Herbal medicine is an ancient practice, that is effective for modern health care concerns when it is formulated for the person and not the disease. I believe our bodies are dynamic, self-regulating, intelligent beings. Plants nurture this innate intelligence to balance and to heal. I believe in each person’s ability to thrive even while living with a health challenge. Plants are wonderful allies on our healing journey, helping us build resiliency and a deeper self-awareness.
