Herbal Sugar Scrubs w/ Melissa Rivera

Join us for a one hour class learning how to make a natural sugar scrub using ingredients you have in your kitchen. A sugar scrub is a skincare product designed to exfoliate and smooth the skin using sugar granules as the primary ingredient. Typically, sugar scrubs are made from a combination of sugar (such as white, brown, or raw sugar) and moisturizing agents like oils (e.g., coconut, almond, or jojoba oil). Melissa will be using ingredients found in our very own aisles of Honest Weight.

About Your Teacher:
Melissa Rivera is the owner of Holistic Energy Healing, LLC. As a community herbalist Melissa loves engaging the community in wellness practices that make sense to them. Infusing her Puerto Rican ancestry, traditions and intuition, to help guide her work. Melissa has taught wellness & body care classes, throughout NYC and the Hudson Valley, NY. Now living in Albany, Melissa loves her new community and all of its offerings. Melissa is a Member-Owner and Part Time Employee in the Wellness Department.
