Herbal Salves for Aches, Pains and Muscle Tension

From cracked skin to cramping muscles - there’s a salve for that! In this class, we'll explore how to make topical herbal salves that help protect and repair the skin and ease inflammation, cramping and aches in muscles and joints. You will learn about the beneficial compounds in a few common kitchen spices, garden-grown and foragable plants that are supportive in this arena.This is a hands-on class, and you will take home a 1oz herbal-infused salve.
About the Instructor: Camilla Voelker of A Season of Wellness is a clinical herbalist, certified health and wellness coach and nutritionist. Combining her passion for ecology and wellness, through classes and one-on-one consultations, Camilla invites people to welcome nature into their wellness practices.

Note: This program is recommended for adults and teens ages 13 and up. Pre-registration is required due to limited capacity. Online registration closes at 5 pm the day before the program. If the program sells out, you may complete your online registration to be added to the waitlist. We will contact you if spots become available. This program will take place indoors.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellation requests received at least 7 days before the scheduled program are eligible for a 50% refund of the total registration cost, not including the credit card processing fee. Due to administration costs, full refunds are not available. Cancellation requests received within 7 days of a program are not eligible for a refund. In the event that Blandford must cancel the program, you will be given the option to reschedule or receive a refund. All community programs will have a registrant minimum. If the minimum is not met, you will be contacted by Blandford Nature Center and notified of your refund options.
