Herbal Oil Infusion Youth Workshop

Overview:

Liberated Learning Community and BIPOC Agroecology Network (BIPOCAN) are collaborating this fall to present an herbalism workshop for youth at Crenshaw Dairy Mart in Inglewood on Thursday September 17th, 2026 | 4-6pm.

We invite youth ages 6-26, and families accompanying youth to join us! Please register the total number of participants. We have limited space, please register by 9/14!

Workshop Summary:

This workshop will be led by Kofi from Seeds and Song and Nancy from Medicina Plantcestral. During this event, youth and their families will have an opportunity to connect, learn, and prepare an herbal oil infusion with plants grown by local farmers in Los Angeles, CA. Youth and family members will take part in a guided grounding exercise, learn about the spiritual and medicinal power of plant relatives, and make a herbal oil infusion to take home.To close out the space, we’ll enjoy a community meal together.

Parking:

Street parking is available along Crenshaw Blvd. Please pay attention to posted street signs and plan to arrive a little early as parking in Inglewood can sometimes take extra time.
