Herbal FUNdamentals Level 1

Herbal Fundamentals Level 1 is a 6-week in-person (or virtual live) course designed to introduce you to the art of plant medicine through hands-on practice and connection. Each one-hour class focuses on a single plant and a traditional medicine-making technique—teas, tinctures, vinegars, oils, + salves. You’ll explore herbs that support the nervous system, digestion, bones, circulation, liver, and skin while deepening your relationship to the Wise Woman Tradition. This is a nourishing introduction to herbalism—no experience needed.

Class will meet on Saturdays from 12:30-1:30 pm on the dates below
May: 9, 23, 30
June: 6, 13, 20
Class 1 (May 9): Tea Infusions for the Nervous System with lemon balm
Class 2 (May 23): Tea decoctions for the digestive system with ginger
Class 3 (May 30): Nutritive Infusions for mineralized bones + tissues with oat straw
Class 4 (June 6): Tinctures to support heart health with hawthorn
Class 5 (June 13): Herbal vinegars to support liver health with dandelion
Class 6 (June 20): Herbal oils + salves to support skin health with calendula
