Winter asks us to slow down, nourish what sustains us, and tend our health with patience rather than urgency. Herbal Foundations is a learning based workshop designed to build confidence, literacy, and safety with herbs as everyday allies.
This class centers relationship over trends and understanding over quick fixes. Herbs are not magic bullets or social media remedies. They are living beings that work best when approached with respect, consistency, and care.
Together, we will explore how herbal support functions gently over time, especially during the winter season when immune resilience and nourishment are essential. This workshop is ideal for beginners, the herb curious, and those who feel overwhelmed by conflicting herbal advice.
You will learn how herbs support the body’s natural processes, how to choose appropriate forms such as teas and infusions, and how to use herbs safely and responsibly. We will also discuss common sense precautions, when herbs are not appropriate, and how to begin building a relationship with plants without pressure to do everything at once.
This is an informational workshop, with information you can take home. There is no expectation to share personal health information, no requirement to participate beyond listening, and no emphasis on diagnosis or treatment. Curiosity, questions, and quiet presence are all welcome.
Herbal care begins with trust, patience, and one plant at a time.
