🌿 It’s thyme to spice up your garden! 🌿Join us for Herb Day on Saturday, February 22, 2025, from 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM at the LSU AgCenter Botanic Gardens! (No early birds, please! 🐦)
✨ What’s in store?
- Hundreds of herb plants for sale – from culinary staples to fragrant favorites! (Cash preferred, credit/debit accepted!)
- Local vendors & artisans selling handmade goods, garden décor, jams & jellies, birdhouses, and more!
- HSABR’s Herbal Tea Bar in the Orangerie – Sample & purchase delicious caffeine-free herbal teas!
- Food trucks serving up tasty eats!
- Free educational classes inside the conference center to help your herb garden thrive!
📖 Class Schedule:
- 9:00 AM – Beginning with Herbs – Art Scarbrough
- 10:00 AM – Propagating Native Plants & Herbs – Jen Blanchard
- 11:00 AM – Growing Your Kitchen Herb Garden for Taste & Health in a Bucket – Ruby Homayssi
Plus, we’ll have a select variety of vegetables & tomatoes grown by the LSU AgCenter! 🍅🌿
