Samhain, known by many as Halloween is a significant festival in Pagan and Wiccan traditions, sometimes referred to as the witches' new year! Given these connections there are many plants and herbs used at this time of year associated with having protective, divining and healing properties that are used especially during this period when the dead are honored. It may be no surprise that many of these plants also have medicinal values which (or witch) the FNH herbalists are going to be focusing on at this months meeting. Come along and find to find out more.Entry fee is £5 per person, cash on arrival please. This includes a complimentary hot drink and handouts giving a brief overview of the evenings topic.
Booking in advance IS NOT REQUIRED. Just turn up on the night and enjoy a relaxed evening with like minded people.
