ABOUT SARAH....
Dr. Sarah Mathis navigated her own complex gut journey rooted in childhood that continued into adulthood, where she became passionate about looking deeper into her own health when she didn't get any answers for her failing body. Her diagnoses of many food sensitivities, IBS-D, SIBO, PCOS, infertility, multiple miscarriages, Hashimoto's, adrenal dysfunction and chronic fatigue syndrome were told that nothing was going on deeper and that this was the way she needed to live. Dr. Sarah took her health into her own hands and unlocked her gut as the root cause for many of her chronic symptoms and healed her gut from a comprehensive root cause approach that she incorporates into her client's healing journey today. As a mama of 3, she loves reading, hiking and being outdoors, spending time having dance parties with her babies and baking gut-healing treats and mocktails in the kitchen.
Dr. Sarah Mathis is a functional medicine practitioner specializing in gut and hormone health for women. After navigating her own complex gut healing journey, she became passionate about helping women who feel bloated, inflamed, exhausted, and dismissed by conventional medicine finally understand what is happening in their bodies.
Through a root-cause approach to digestive wellness, Dr. Sarah helps women address IBS, SIBO, PCOS, thyroid dysfunction, endometriosis, and hormone imbalances by restoring gut integrity, supporting liver detox pathways, and regulating the nervous system.
